We are a husband-and-wife team who have called Budapest home for the past 20 years, after living in New York. Our experiences navigating life abroad and returning to Hungary inspired us to create 2nd Home Management. We understand the challenges of balancing life between two countries, and we’re dedicated to helping those who spend significant time in Hungary, ensuring their stay is seamless and stress-free.
With a background in pedagogy and psychology, along with 25 years in the hospitality industry, I’ve managed a restaurant in Budapest and a boutique hotel at Lake Balaton, organizing countless events and creating memorable experiences for our guests. My husband studied architecture in Paris, business in New York and then he ran his french restaurant in Manhattan for more than 20 years. Together, we offer a unique blend of expertise—combining personal care, local knowledge, and a commitment to exceptional service. Whether it’s home management, event planning, or arranging activities, we treat your needs with the same care and attention as we would our own, ensuring your time in Hungary is unforgettable.
